BFG km2 Tires

BFG KM2 Mud Terrain Review Off Road I've driven the BFG Mud Terrain KM2 tires for 7 months, a total distance traveled on the road was 8,000-10,000 miles. Excursions included: Portland to Bend, Oregon (4 hours), Portland to northern California, Portland to Colorado (4600 miles) and Portland, San Francisco, California. The tires are perfect and still has to look like new.
Off Road Trips include: Tillamook State Forest (NW Oregon), Mountain Goat (Estacada area), McGrew Trail (Southern Oregon), Pacific City (Oregon Coast), Iron Chest (Colorado) and the Rubicon River (California).
BFG KM2 Mud Terrain Off Road driving conditions (35 "x 12.5")
Sand driving: the BFG KM2 tires were tested at Pacific City, Oregon. We tried to get stuck the car, but could not even with the tires at 35 PSI. The tires dig in, but pushed forward the truck. We climbed a few hills, soft sand with no problems. The KM2 tires not much better than my old Toyo MT tires, which seemed to dig straight down.
Snow & Ice Traction: My BFG KM2 siped tires are in the middle, increasing the smooth surface traction. There was no traction issues at all in wet or rainy conditions. Ice traction is not large compared to the Toyo MT tires. Traction on snow is fine, but not incredible, nor even the Toyo MT tires are better. I would recommend the middle lamella tabs if you frequently drive in snow or ice.
Mud Driving: The BFG KM2 tires are good in mud. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have tons of rain, mud and sticky clay. These tires join. I've never been a problem with the hand traction in the mud. The tread on the tire wall helps immensely if properly aired down. You will not be disappointed.
Rock Crawling Drive: BFG KM2 tires are very similar to the rocks incredible (as the BFG crawler) tires. I aired the tires at 9 PSI and had plenty of traction. The tires grabbed and clung to every stone surface we drove on. The sidewall construction is tough, we had no problems with flats or pearls come from. These are the perfect tire for rock crawling.

I would recommend buying the BFG Mud KM2 tires for all around solid off-road traction with good road manners, and apparently long tread life.
