I've driven the BFG Mud Terrain KM2 tires for 7 months, a total distance traveled on the road was 8,000-10,000 miles. Excursions included: Portland to Bend, Oregon (4 hours), Portland to northern California, Portland to Colorado (4600 miles) and Portland, San Francisco, California. The tires are perfect and still has to look like new.
Off Road Trips include: Tillamook State Forest (NW Oregon), Mountain Goat (Estacada area), McGrew Trail (Southern Oregon), Pacific City (Oregon Coast), Iron Chest (Colorado) and the Rubicon River (California).
BFG KM2 Mud Terrain Off Road driving conditions (35 "x 12.5")
Sand driving: the BFG KM2 tires were tested at Pacific City, Oregon. We tried to get stuck the car, but could not even with the tires at 35 PSI. The tires dig in, but pushed forward the truck. We climbed a few hills, soft sand with no problems. The KM2 tires not much better than my old Toyo MT tires, which seemed to dig straight down.
Snow & Ice Traction: My BFG KM2 siped tires are in the middle, increasing the smooth surface traction. There was no traction issues at all in wet or rainy conditions. Ice traction is not large compared to the Toyo MT tires. Traction on snow is fine, but not incredible, nor even the Toyo MT tires are better. I would recommend the middle lamella tabs if you frequently drive in snow or ice.
Mud Driving: The BFG KM2 tires are good in mud. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have tons of rain, mud and sticky clay. These tires join. I've never been a problem with the hand traction in the mud. The tread on the tire wall helps immensely if properly aired down. You will not be disappointed.
Rock Crawling Drive: BFG KM2 tires are very similar to the rocks incredible (as the BFG crawler) tires. I aired the tires at 9 PSI and had plenty of traction. The tires grabbed and clung to every stone surface we drove on. The sidewall construction is tough, we had no problems with flats or pearls come from. These are the perfect tire for rock crawling.
On Road: Check out our previous BFG Mud Terrain KM2 Review On Road
I would recommend buying the BFG Mud KM2 tires for all around solid off-road traction with good road manners, and apparently long tread life.
It is very often that car owners know or truck owners with a view to replace the BFG Tires not sure what to look. So they would end up in buying low quality tires in the process caused a lot of money. However, you can make a wise choice when you consider a few points ahead of deal closing in on a.
The most important aspect that you will be taken into consideration when shopping for tires to see if the dealer is a trusted one. You need to aspects such as authenticity and reputation of the sellers are looking for. You need a solid business here without cheating the customers by selling inferior products. In the end, the customer should not be deceived, but satisfied.
It is relatively easy o verify the authenticity of the dealer. There are many counseling services on the Internet that you can use the information. There are other, simpler means to the dealers. This will find out by, your friends, neighbors, and contacts are well aware of the issues, auto parts. You can from the experience of the performance of the tires, especially in the case of mud tires.
Given a chance, it is best to go for the buyer to the brand. This is best done in the case of off-road tires suitable. This is very important because of the unusual terrain and driving conditions that the driver needs to get in contact. Never make the mistake, she draws a low quality tires only because, in favorable prices. When it comes to tires, "you will reap what you sow." The low-cost factor could be an attractive offer. In the long term, it will give inferior performance. Shelling suggests that additional amount will ensure a lasting performance.
Buy cheap BFG Tires has many disadvantages. Used tires will never be equal to the new in terms of their quality and durability. Even the companies that will buy you need from an alleged dealer. Even if you manage to thoroughly check the tires before you buy, there are chances that you might be missing a few points here and there over the tires, which is linked to their quality. Then it would be better to go for a cheaper brand as used tires to. This does not mean that you will receive a durable tire at a lower interest rate. There can be no assurance, if the criteria is the quality and safety.
If you do an Internet search for BFG Tires for sale, you should only trust the authentic site. Online users will not let you have a closer examination of the tires, which take into account. The tires you choose for your vehicle should be able to withstand the climatic conditions of the region. Sometimes you may find a set of tires be adapted for all types of weather so that you want to be no need for the tires, depending on seasonal variations
A Durable and Affordable Tire Option

If you run or work for a company that uses trucks, then you know how expensive it can be. You have to buy an insurance policy to find reliable driver to pay for maintenance, purchase parts and pay for parking tickets. These can be really expensive, so that wherever certain costs can be cut without sacrificing quality is great. One of the first places I look to reduce my expenses is by buying cheap truck parts, especially BFG Truck Tires. This is the easiest and quickest way I've found, are the costs under control.
If you are a novice, a company that trucks are serving needs, you will probably not even imagine that you are to immediately start looking for ways to cut your costs. You may think you addressed all of the subject, and found the best deals, but there are still other ways to lower your costs. If you implement this, you will begin to look for even more small and big ways to reduce their costs.
We all try to plan everything in advance. You take your pencil, notebook, and plan everything, what will happen and could happen to ensure that all your bases are covered. But we are all only human and we forget things, no matter how well we are planning. And even if you do not forget, we all know how things go wrong while you can daily business.
That's just business. Things seem to keep coming and there are always unexpected problems to do on a day-to-day basis. Therefore, it is really important to manage money aside to deal with unexpected problems. And the quickest way to do this is to cut your costs by buying things like BFG Truck Tires, which you can build up quickly for your company's savings.
There's really nothing wrong with buying slightly used trucks and truck equipment. But do not be too cheap. Make sure that the equipment you buy, durable and easy to use. You also need to employ very capable drivers and people who service the equipment when it breaks down. By saving money for things like BFG Truck Tires, you will be able to best truck drivers and repair technicians in your area for your devices.
Sometimes I wish I could take my truck down to the local mechanic at the corner, the corrections to my family car, and cut my costs by half. But that's not really a smart way of cutting costs. It is a wise decision to buy things as BFG Truck Tires and gently used engine parts to save money and keep the hire the best mechanics around the truck. Their truck breaks less often, with whom you can be saved a lot of money in the long run.
BFG KM2 Mud Terrain Review On Road

There was time to upgrade my old 35 "Wild Country XTR Mud Terrain tires. My goal was to find a tire with good manners on the road and excellent off-road traction. After hours of research and have been reading reviews my choices narrowed who try to Geoland MT + Yokohama, Toyo Open Country MT and BFGoodrick T / A KM2 tire. I decided that the new BGFs.
The new BFG KM2 tires look incredible! They share a similar profile and design, the award-winning rock crawling counterpart of the Krawler KX. But ... It is a functional dual purpose tires.
The primary complaint I found online was poor snow and ice traction, this mainly to the lack of tread lamellae is attributed. Unlike tires, Toyo MT with slats factory came and good snow / ice traction, but unfortunately they are almost twice as expensive!
The solution was aftermarket tire strips from the folks at America's Tire / Discount Tire peformed. I decided to raise only the center lugs siped to provide traction and increase tread life have. The outer flaps were un-limiting siped to tread chunking off road.
The tread plates was well worth the cost. On a recent trip to Mt Bachelor, the truck very well. She remained under control at all times, packed with plenty of traction in snow and ice. Wet traction was very good. Siping tires KM2 is strongly recommended.
On the road manners of the KM2 tires is very good. It is a Mud Terrain tire quiet and it is no exaggeration to hum or vibration at highway speeds (70 mph). The noise level is comperable many all-terrain tires I have caused in the past.
The tires are balanced with a limited amount of weight and no wobbles or bumps. You will not feel the aggressive studs even with slow speeds, unlike the Yokohama Geoland MT +, which feels like you're driving on cobblestones.
Gas Mileage decreased slightly (1-2 mpg), partly due to the larger diameter compared to the old tires. Note: This measure bigger tires than most 35 "tires on the market.
The BFG KM2 tires are an excellent choice if you are good at, and aggressive driving behavior looks like.
